    Coffee Machine:

    After long focus working, with a hot cup of coffee, our colleagues get refreshed, the afternoon sleepiness reduced, which increased our work motivation.

    With this machine, we don't need to go out to buy coffee, which is saving time and allowing us to focus more on the research.

    Microscopes

    We have 5 microscopes in our lab. One of the research directions of our research group is wireless implantable equipment, and the microscopes are needed for the experiments, which are used for manual welding of micro-LED, with the size of 250 microns ×200 microns.



    Desktop Oscilloscope

    It can be carried with at any time for fault diagnosis and debugging of circuits and equipment. Through the oscilloscope display waveform, you can intuitively observe and analyze the signal changes in the circuit, quickly locate the problem, and carry out the corresponding adjustment and optimization. It can measure and analyze various electrical signals, such as voltage, current, frequency, phase, etc. Determine whether the working state of the circuit is normal.

    Portable Oscilloscope

    This portable oscilloscope is smaller and convenient to take to anywhere in the lab.

    DC Power Supply

    It provides a stable and continuous current with a fixed polarity and voltage level. Here are some of the main functions of DC power supplies.

    Portable Vector Network Analyzer

    The Vector network analyzer is an instrument used to measure and analyze circuits, radio frequency and microwave systems. It is a vital device in the field of electronic engineering, enabling the accurate measurement of signal transmission characteristics in a device, component or system. We have portable VNA, and one bigger VNA to be installed.



    The Wireless Power Transmission (TX) Systems

    The wireless power transmission system is used to generate 13.56MZ electromagnetic wave, and the output waveform duty cycle and power can be controlled by running the supporting demo software. The wireless transmission of electromagnetic waves is used for the power supply of the implantable device, and the adjustment of the duty cycle is used to control the switching of LED lights in different channels. We have 3 wireless power transmission systems ready in the lab.

    Heat Gun

    We have 3 heat guns in our lab. They are mainly used for heating and melting materials to achieve welding, degumming, heat shrinkage, paint removal, drying and other purposes.

    Electric Soldering Machines

    We have 3 soldering machines in our lab. They are used for fabrication, connecting electronic components to the circuit. With these machines, we can achieve constant temperature welding.

    Lithography Room

    Through a series of air filtration, clean workbench, air shower and other equipment, dust, microorganisms and other pollutants in the indoor air can be effectively removed, so that the indoor environment can meet certain cleanliness requirements. In the clean shed, environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and pressure can be controlled to provide a good environment for various experiments and production that require a high degree of clean conditions. In our lithography room, there are one refrigerator for storing the chemicals and also spinner coater, hot plate, etc.

     

       

    Lithography machine

    Lithography machine is a key equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing. It mainly uses a light source of a specific wavelength (such as ultraviolet light, extreme ultraviolet light, etc.) to radiate, and the specific image on the mask plate is accurately engraved on the silicon wafer (silicon wafer).



    Anti-explosion refrigerator

    It is used for the storage of chemicals and biologics in the lithography room.

    Spin coater

    In the field of microelectronics manufacturing, the spin coater is used for uniform coating of photoresist to ensure the accuracy and stability of the chip process

    Hot Plate

    In semiconductor manufacturing, the hot plate solidifies the photoresist by precisely heating the wafer, a process similar to how a fixer fixes a photo image, but in this case the microcircuit pattern is fixed

    Microwave Oven

    We can take home-made food to office. It is quite convenient to warm them up with this microwave oven.

    Refrigerator:

    With this refrigerator, we can store our food and snap and drinks.

    Air Purifier 

    It is a device used to clean and purify indoor air. It improves indoor air quality by removing pollutants from the air, including dust, pollen, bacteria, viruses, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other harmful particulate matter through a built-in filtration system.

    Print Machine

    It is a laser printer, using toners. We can print directly in our lab.

    Air Pathway Sources

    We have 3 kinds of air: N2, O2 and compressed air.

    Fume Hoods

    It is mainly used to protect the operator and the laboratory environment from harmful gases, vapors, smoke, odor and particles. The fume hood reduces the concentration of hazardous substances in the laboratory by extracting harmful gases from the work area and placing them outside or in the exhaust system of the building.

    Anti-vibration Table

    It is a device used to reduce or eliminate the effects of vibration on precision optical experiments and instruments. In the laboratory, especially in high-precision optical measurements, laser experiments, microscope observations, spectral analysis and other work requiring a high degree of stability and accuracy, even a small vibration can have a significant impact on the experimental results.

    Wet Bench

    It is a workbench specially designed for liquid handling and chemical experiments. It is usually equipped with drainage systems, ventilation facilities, and protective devices to ensure safety and convenience when handling chemicals, solutions, and other liquids. Wet bench is widely used in chemistry, materials science, semiconductor manufacturing and biotechnology.


    Vaccumn Oven:

    Vacuum ovens provide uniform and reproducible drying and heat treatment results for pharmaceutical, food, electronics, medical devices, and aerospace applications. We used mainly pdms in this oven for encapsulation.

    Probe station

    The probe station is widely used in the semiconductor industry and the optoelectronic industry, including the research and development of sophisticated electrical measurement of complex and high-speed devices, chip and LD/LED/PD testing, PCB/ package device testing, RF testing, etc

    Mark 10 Motorized Tensile Test Frame

    The one we have in the lab is Model F105 Max Load 100 LBF/0.5 KN. The tensile strength, compressive strength, elastic modulus, yield strength, elongation at break and other physical properties of the material can be measured by the tensile testing machine.

    Series Signal Generators

    It is a cost-effective option for basic parameter testing and functional verification of the receiver. They can provide simulation and vector models to meet different testing needs.

    Digit multimeter

    It is an electronic test instrument used to measure electrical parameters such as voltage, current, and resistance.

     

    Laboratory Hoods

    are used to handle a wide range of chemicals, including corrosive, toxic and volatile substances. Its ventilation system ensures effective exhaust of smoke, protects researchers and maintains a safe working environment.



    IR Camera

    It is a camera device that can sense infrared radiation. It can shoot clear images in a completely dark environment, and its working principle is based on the thermal radiation of the object, by converting the infrared light emitted by the object into visible light signals, to achieve image capture and display.


    Digital Board

    The touch screen can serve as a shared workspace, making it easy for us to gather together to discuss and collaborate.

    Through this digital screen, our teams can share and edit documents in real time, which increased our collaboration efficiency.
